Interleukin 6 and 8 levels (IL-6 and IL-8) were determined by the Elisa method. IGME exhibited antiproliferative effect and induced apoptosis in the HeLa cells. IL-6, IL-8 and intracellular ROS levels were decreased after treatment of IGME.
