APPLICATION OF LEGAL PROVISIONS AND REGULATIONS IN THE TREATMENT OF DRINKING WATER IN THE TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF VRANJE

The quality of drinking water is very important and an essential factor for the normal functioning ofliving beings. Depending on the quality of water, the quality of many food products, which use water in theirprocessing and production process, also depends. The city of Vranje has chemically and bacteriologically correctdrinking water, because the water is regularly checked, controlled and analyzed, both in the water factory and in thePublic Health Institute of Vranje. However, the large number of factories and the loading of watercourses with anexcessive amount of waste greatly affect the change in water quality. For this reason, it is very important to treat thewater so that the water remains of satisfactory quality. There are many legal regulations that, through theirregulations, influence the maintenance of water quality at a satisfactory level. This paper focuses precisely on theapplication of legal regulations and regulations in the treatment of drinking water testing.
