Para ello, se argumenta el papel que los museos juegan en la superacion del dolor a nivel individual y social y su papel en la conformacion y resguardo del sistema democratico y se analizan algunos casos de fama mundial tanto desde la optica del museo como del espacio urbano EnglishThe announcement of the government of Spain of its decision to exhume the mortal remains of the dictator Francisco Franco from the Basilica of the Holy Cross of the Valle de los Caidos in order to put an end to an anomalous situation in a democratic system has meant the reactivation of the debate around the conservation of this monumental complex. Abandonment, demolition and resignification are some of the actions that have been proposed. However, this text advocates for a concise musealization of the funerary monument.
