However, in the proposed work particular attention is given to the standalone photovoltaic system, which it used where there is not access to public grid especially in the desert region. Many software for designing and sizing such a PV system, but most of them are costly and complicated for ordinary user. However, the proposed work develop an easy and simple graphic user interface (GUI) to use for the standalone photovoltaic system, considering the different stages of the PV system such as PV generators, electrical cable connections, electrical protections, MPPT controller, PV inverter, batteries. The aim of the proposed GUI is to compute the suitable values for electrical protections and cable section between each PV system stages.
