There are some certain limitations of the commonly used method of calculating parking demand in accordance with the indicators of signal blocks, ?for it may overly estimate the parking demand of mixed land use. On the basis of parking demand indicators of a single block, this paper focuses on the mechanism of shared parking in mixed land use, analyzes factors having an affect on parking demand such as geographic condition, time variations of parking demand of each block,the relationships of activities among different blocks and others, proposes a process and method of shared parking demand analysis and calculation. Especially, quantitative calculating methods of parameters related to Shared Parking Analysis are proposed.
