The research used descriptive research design with a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative data. The results determined the sample size of 217 respondents from 500 people using Krejcie and Morgan (1970). However, only 188 respondents participated in this research with response rate of 86.6% of 217 respondents. The results of the first objective revealed that environmental scanning plays a significant and a positive effect on organizational performance in Rwanda with overall mean of 1.621 tending to high score of to a very great extent. The results of the second objective revealed that strategy formulation plays a significant and a positive effect on organizational performance in Rwanda with overall mean of 1.324 tending to high score of to a very great extent. The results of the third objective revealed that a big number of respondents strongly agreed that strategy implementation plays a significant effect in organizational performance. Lastly, the results of the fourth objective revealed that strategy evaluation plays a positive and significant effect in performance of NPD Ltd. Hence, these are supported by correlation analysis results which revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between environmental scanning and budgetary performance (r=0.717 and sig=0.00<0.01), and quality performance (r= 0.783 and sig=0.00<0.01). The strategy formulation and timely performance (r=0.647 and sig=0.00<0.01), and quality performance (r= 0.696 and sig=0.00<0.01). Another positive and significant relationship between strategy implementation and timely performance (r=0.650 and sig=0.00<0.01), strategy evaluation and quality performance (r= 0.707 and sig=0.00<0.01) level of significance. Hence, in conclusion since all the predictors of strategic management process have a positive and significant relationship with the measures of organizational performance, this implies that there is a positive and significant relationship between strategic management process and organizational performance of NPD Ltd in Kigali City of Rwanda. It is in this regard the research would like to recommend to managers, evaluators, and strategy formulators as well as implementers to ensure that strategies are well formulated, implemented and evaluated to ensure organizational performance. This recommendation is made because the results of the study indicated that strategic management process has a positive effect on organizational performance.
