The antenna is constructed to be mounted on moving platforms, which are designed using stealth technologies. Loop 4-port magnetic antenna with lengthwise heterogeneous (piecewise uniform) ferrite core is studied with the finite elements method. The antenna is mounted conformally on two carrier platforms, i.e. flat part of the carrier coating and fuselage of a large aircraft (LA) without fin. The influence of the form of the heterogeneous core and the phase feed modes of the ports of the magnetic antenna on the radiation efficiency and the gain of the “ MA — carrier” system in the frequency band 2–30 MHz is studied. Radiation pattern and expected radiation efficiency of the “MA — carrier” system are shown.
