There are many hydrogeological criteria, and one of the most important ones is the anomalies characteristic of oil fields. The present article is dedicated to the study of hydrogeochemical anomalies of oil-bearing structures and the possibility of their use in practice. It should be noted that the ease of detection of hydrogeochemical anomalies gives them a certain advantage compared to hydrodynamic anomalies.
