ALINHAVOS PARA UMA HISTÓRIA DA MODA

Resumo: a moda se manifesta materialmente, expressando elementos que constituem momentos históricos. Ela é repleta de subjetividade, dos desejos e poderes dos sujeitos nela envolvidos. Estes aspectos revelam sua essência paradoxal coexistindo com seu devir transformador. As inquietações que motivam este estudo são a reserva na abordagem da moda pela história e qual a sua relevância para a ciência histórica. Por meio de um balanço historiográfico composto por cinco autores que discutem a moda de diferentes ciências, teorias e métodos, é possível realizar uma reflexão ampla, de modo que haja compreensão não só do significado da moda, mas também da sua contribuição na construção da história, uma vez que o ato de se cobrir e se ornar acompanha o ser humano desde os primórdios. Palavras chave: História; Moda; Teoria.   Abstract: fashion manifests itself materially, expressing elements that constitute historical moments. It is full of subjectivity, desires, and powers of the subjects involved in it. These aspects reveal its paradoxical essence coexisting with its transforming becoming. The concerns that motivate this study are the reservation in the approach of fashion through history and its relevance to historical Science. Through a historiographical balance composed of five authors who discuss Fashion from different sciences, theories and methods, it is possible to carry out a broad reflection, so that there is an understanding not only of the meaning of fashion but also of its contribution to the construction of history since the act of covering and adorning oneself accompanies the human being since the beginning.
