The eigenvalue theorem is applied with the proposed model derived from the DQ method and the generalize state-space averaging (GSSA) method. It can be found from the stability study that the irradiance of PV arrays can significantly affect to the stability margin of DC MGs. The simulation results via the exact topological model of MATLAB are used to confirm the theoretical results. A good agreement between the simulation and theory can be achieved. Moreover, the effect of irradiance changing on stability issue is very important.
