This paper is a contribution to a perfect description of a PWM buck converter used in a PV controller to efficiently control the energy flow in a standalone PV system. The block diagram and detailed electrical schematic of the proposed controller are described. The different parts of the power board are discussed. The work was crowned by the realization and static/dynamic tests of the converter circuit that show good results.
