The results showed that the b parameter was form 2.41 (in C. aculeate) to 3.88 (in A. sellal) and condition factors ranged from 0.74 (in A. sellal and B. karunensis) to 1.35 (in C. aculeate). The coefficient of determination (r2) in the length-weight and length-length relationships was > 0.83. In conclusion, allometric growth patterns for A. sellal, B. karunensis, G. gymnothorax, and G. galaxias were positive while for C. aculata, C. regium and T. hafezi, and C. coadi presented negative patterns.
