In recent years, various algorithms have been introduced to remove haze. Most of the algorithms remove haze but hardly enhance the image with better contrast. In this paper, we have proposed an effective method for removing haze from the image. The main benefit of our method is that it dehazes image as well as preserves ramp edges providing better contrast of the image.
