For a sample of 196 employees of a food retailing business in Ankara, this study examines the effect of working conditions on employee turnover intention and the mediating effect of employee burnout in this relation,. According to the findings obtained from the survey study, the conditions requiring intense physical effort dimension of the working conditions affect both burnout and the intention to leave. Besides, it has been determined that non-ergonomic conditions and monotonous work dimensions positively affect the employees' turnover intention.
