The phase of synthesized material is confirmed by XRD and indexed by JCPDS card. XRD results favors for pure phase of VO 2 (B). For confirmation of chemical composition vibrational bands FTIR is performed. For finding optical band gap, Tauc calculation has be done from UV-Vis spectroscopy. Photocatalytic activity is performed under UV radiation for 180 min.
