Qualification and employability of women in Burundian public industrial tea and energy companies
The concept of employability takes on a variety of dimensions and contours in the literature, which certainly implies the development of skills and adaptation to changes in employees' jobs. Despite the large number of works devoted to skills and employability, there is little work to clarify the links between these two concepts in Burundian tea and energy industrial enterprises. The objective of our article is to define the elements of an answer to the following question: how can the management of qualifications ensure the employability of Burundian women in tea and energy companies? In this article, we propose a conceptual and exploratory approach at the level of five tea companies and one company producing and distributing water and electricity. First, we present a state of the art on the concepts of individual qualification and employability, and their relationship, and then we discuss the elements that guarantee women's employability.
