The lifecycle management of construction project based on BIM is analyzed thoroughly, and thought that the usage of BIM may solve the problem of information demand in the lifecycle management of construction project, and changes the way of information transmission and accumulation. The paper constructs the construction project lifecycle management model which based on the BIM, and the usage of BIM in design, construction and operation & maintenance stage is analyzed.
