Case report We report a 42-year-old man who was successfully treated for a colovesical fistula due to diverticulitis of the sigmoid colon presenting with septic shock. Colovesical fistula due to diverticular disease of sigmoid colon: a case report
Background Nowadays, diverticular disease of the colon is an increasingly common diagnosis and is a leading cause of colovesical fistula. This disease causes many complications affecting quality of life even causing death.
