The methodology of the research is to apply the following methods: theoretical – analysis of television subjects, information sources, the generalization of the information drive’s influence on the quality of television material, determination of the interdependence of the structural components that form the news. Scientific novelty . The components of modern information news were analyzed for the first time, the detailed analysis of the interdependence of the structural components that form the news was made. Conclusions . In the course of the article, we analyzed the components of modern information news. Through the analysis of television stories, the role of the information drive in the news is established. Structural components that form the news are elaborated.
