The main research contents were the bulk refractive index sensitivity of silica microbottle resonator and the sensing characteristics of ethanol gas after being coated with graphene oxide (GO) and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), respectively. Experiments reveal that the bulk refractive index sensitivity of the silica microbottle resonator is 21.14941nm/RIU. The sensitivity of WGM silica microbottle resonator coated with GO to ethanol gas is about 1.55 pm/ppm.
