These adducts were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR and electronic spectral studies. The spectral studies revealed the trans octahedral geometry of the adducts around the Ni(II) metal ion. All the adducts were paramagnetic and non-electrolytic in nature.
