Fiction as a Factor of Individual’s Socialization
The article examines the influence of fiction on the formation of the individual’s ethical values and creative thinking. Literary text influences both rational and emotional spheres of consciousness. A talented author forms a reader’s worldview, which de-termines his life philosophy. That’s why in the post - reconstruction period, those in power try to change ideological orientation of school Literature curriculum so as to form a “civilized consumer”. But universality of national ethical values represented in the Russian classical literature indicates that it’s a hopeless task.
