Both the entrepreneurs that are benefited from training provided by Event as well as those entrepreneurs who have trained themselves from other organizations are taken into consideration. In this context, study is done to find out- What are the problems and prospects of women entrepreneurs involved in beauty parlour business within Kathmandu Valley? Descriptive, correlational and regression analysis has been done to achieve research objectives and to test the proposed research hypotheses. Different items related to financial, social, technological dimensions has been used for conducting this research study. The study has followed the quantitative analysis under descriptive and analytical research design. Convenient and judgmental sampling has been followed for the selection of the samples. More than thousand parlours are working inside the Kathmandu valley which is the population for this study. 100 organizations have been taken as sample organizations and 150 beauticians as the sample size for the research study. To collect the opinions of beauticians, a structured questionnaire has been distributed which has been developed based on the review of articles. To describe the responses, mean value of each variable has been computed and the Cronbach’s alpha for testing reliability has been calculated with the use of SPSS 18 software. Correlation has been calculated to measure the relationship between different variables. Multiple Regression analysis has been conducted to examine the relationship between studied variables and to identify the strength of that relationship. The journal covers all administrative disciplines including accounting and finance, business ethics, production and operations management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, management information systems, marketing, organizational behaviour, strategic management, and managerial economics. Each issue of Asian Journal of Management Cases comprises four to five original case studies. Teaching cases should be accompanied with a Teaching Note (TN). Even though the TN will not be published, it is necessary for the review process and can be obtained by contacting the authors directly. Please refer to the online submission guidelines for details on writing a teaching note. AJMC does not publish pure research or applied research based on field studies (not case studies). The journal is published in March and September every year with thematically focused issues occasionally.
