As a result of the experiments carried out, the samples were subjected to metallographic examination, hardness measurements, tensile test and bending test. As a result of the examinations carried out, changes in welding performances were determined with the change of pin profiles. As a result of these changes, it was determined that the pin profile suitable for the applied welding parameters was pyramid. Effects of different profiled pins used in friction stir welding of Al 6061 T6
