Determining Validity and Reliability of Turkish version of Selfitis Behavior Scale
Abstract Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the validity and reliability of Turkish version of Selfitis Behavior Scale (SBS). Method: This methodologic study was carried out in Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa. The sample size was calculated to be at least 10 times the number of items in the scale. Participants sociodemographic characteristics, control frequency of some social media tools, number of selfie photos, SBS Scale and Social Media Addiction Scale -Adult Form were conducted. In order to test the construct validity of the scale, factor analysis was applied and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin coefficient and Barlett Test result were calculated than confirmatory factor analysis was performed.
