MRI studies in the acute phase of infection have presented both typical and unusual changes. 3-year follow-up results of imaging examinations have also been described. DWI (Diffusion-weighted Imaging) and MR spectroscopy (MRS) values in the course of HSE infection have been shown in addition to conventional MR studies.
