The cervical spine TB was confirmed using an MRI plain and contrasted cervical spine. Post-surgical neurological examinations were performed on the 1st, 7th, 21st, and 42nd days and the 3rd and 6th months after surgery. The neurological state was measured in terms of muscle power measured by MRC grades and functional outcome was assessed from Nurick grades. \nResults: The mean age of the patients was 37.0 ± 14.4 years. The majority of patients had C5 caries spine (28%) and the least had C7 caries spine (14%). Most of the patients had pre-operative MRC grade 3 (41.7%). 摘要
目的:通过MRC (medical research council)分级测量肌力和Nurick分级测量功能状态,评价颈椎前路减压融合钢板术后颈椎龋病患者的神经系统状态。材料与方法:选取KEMU/Mayo医院神经外科行颈椎前路减压钢板手术的下颈椎(C3 - C7)患者36例,采用描述性病例系列研究。颈椎结核通过MRI平片和颈椎对比证实。分别于术后第1、7、21、42天及第3、6个月进行神经学检查。神经状态根据MRC分级测量的肌肉力量来测量,功能结果根据Nurick评分来评估。结果:患者平均年龄37.0±14.4岁。以C5型为主(28%),C7型最少(14%)。大多数患者术前MRC为3级(41.7%)。大多数学生达到了Nurick的5级(55.6%)。17%的患者术后出现声音嘶哑。31%的患者术后出现吞咽困难,3周后改善。在6个月的随访期间,3%的患者出现了新的神经功能障碍,表现为MRC分级测量的肌肉力量退化。结论:所有随访患者术前状态改善均有统计学意义。
