Remarks on dissipative processes in the continuum theory of micromagnetics
Dissipative processes resulting from magnetic spin-crystal lattice and spin-spin interactions are examined from the point of view of modern continuum mechanics in the theory of micromagnetics of deformable media. A formula which generalizes that of Gilbert and Kelley (1953) is derived for deformable solids. The corresponding heat conduction equation is obtained.
