In this paper, a unified controller is designed to solve the fixed-time and preassigned-time stability problems of fourth-order chaotic power systems. In addition, based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are established for the fixed-time and preassigned-time stability of the underlying chaotic power systems, and a more accurate estimation of the settling time is also derived. Fixed-/Preassigned-Time Stability Control of Chaotic Power Systems
