ILHA DE CALOR URBANA: DIAGNÓSTICO COMO FERRAMENTA DE GESTÃO AMBIENTAL URBANA NAS CIDADES DE PEQUENO E MÉDIO PORTE

Both the structuring and the occupation of urban spaces, as a whole, establish an unquestionable influence on the perceptible increase in temperatures, even giving rise to the episode called Urban Heat Islands (ICU), causing concerns or discomfort of a thermal nature. Even in the circumstances in which the aforementioned discomforts can manifest themselves in balance in a given space, there will be different perceptions of this phenomenon, based on the patterns of collective, community or popular susceptibility. Thus, the aim of this study is to examine the basic conditions of urban space, involving green areas with a view to mitigating the generation of so-called heat islands. The bibliographic review will be the methodology to be applied in the development of this learning, using several researches, articles, some dissertations, among other textual elements. It is concluded that it is possible to understand that the meticulous examination of urban heat islands makes it possible to offer incentives or contributions to urban planning, intending to protect the community, so that it becomes feasible to build more healthy urban centers for those who live there. live.
