A preliminary analysis allows affirming that elderly population that makes use of ICTs is a very small percentage of the total elderly population in Asturias. Thus, it is necessary to know the distinguishing characteristics (personal and socio-demographic) of this elderly users of ICT, with the purpose of establishing some clear guidelines that allow extending ICT's use to other elderly people.
