In this paper a comparative analysis is done by using different dielectric substrates and their effect on the antenna performance. It is seen that FR4_epoxy gives the best impedance matching at the design frequency and also produces multi frequency response. The antenna is finally designed using FR4_epoxy as dielectric substrate material and two operating frequency response is achieved at 2 GHz and 2.6 GHz with return loss -21 dB and -23 dB respectively with 5 % and 3.8 % bandwidth each.
