Data was obtainedfrom entries for time trials as well as final results of competition in 400m freestyle swimming. Researchwas conducted with the aim of establishing the influence of sections (50m, 100m, 150m,200m, 250m, 300m and 350m) as predictor set of variables and influence on criterion variable ofsuccess rate of results in 400m freestyle swimming.
