Strategi pengembangan kawasan agropolitan komoditas kopi di Kecamatan Wonosalam Kabupaten Jombang

Jombang Regency is one of the coffee producers which is used as an agropolitan area development in East Java. The condition of the Wonosalam District area is very supportive in the development of an agropolitan area. This condition is marked by the existence of coffee plantations which increase every year. Productivity decreases every year due to the addition of new land that must be used optimally. The purpose of this study (1) to determine the internal and external conditions of coffee commodities in the agropolitan area of Wonosalam District (2) to formulate development strategies and determine the priority strategies used in the development of the coffee commodity agropolitan area in Wonosalam District. This research method uses SWOT and AHP analysis. The results showed that the condition of the coffee commodity agropolitan area in Wonosalam District was in quadrant III. The strategy in quadrant III is a strategy that takes advantage of opportunities and improves weaknesses. The recommended strategy is to change the previous strategy. The priority strategy used is to provide market information to farmers and business actors.
