For the compensation transmission line will contain rich transient components from low to high frequency when it occurs one phase ground fault. In this paper, we use the low-frequency resonance which generated by series capacitor and shunt inductor to determine the nature of the fault. First, the voltage will be filtered, extracts the low frequency components and integral it to calculating the low-frequency energy.
