From conventional data acquisition to full/wide/multi-azimuth broadband data, there is an abundance of subsurface information aimed mainly at enhancing structural resolution, for improved prospect definition. Conventional seismic imaging tends towards the higher amplitude specular/continuous part of the seismic dataset for generating reflection events.
