The scoring and weighting techniques are applied for condition assessment. The component of HV substation such as circuit breaker, disconnecting switch, earthing switch, high speed earthing switch, current transformer, voltage transformer and local control panel are evaluated. The 5 bays of a 115 kV GIS substation in industrial area are evaluated as example in the assessment program. The results show the health index of components, health index of bay and health index of substation in form of percentage.
