However, as China's urbanization process continues to accelerate, the problem of disorderly sprawl in cities has become more and more serious. The demand for public transportation in the vast suburbs is low and scattered. The city center arranges suburban buses through traditional public transportation, which inevitably leads to a waste of public transportation capacity and reduces the operating income of the bus company. This paper studies the urban-rural integrated bus route based on particle swarm algorithm, and studies the related theories of urban-rural integrated bus route based on literature data, and then designs the urban-rural integrated bus route optimization system based on particle swarm algorithm.
