In the paper question of application of widely used vibrational sources is mentioned and a preferred design of vibrational source is described. It is proposed to use source of vibrational disturbances on basis of flexible rotating shaft to create a disturbance discernible at considerable distance in the Earth crust by azimuth correctioning system. To calculate a strength of vibrational package a calculating model of vibrational source with flexible rotating shaft is presented and results of simulation of operation process of vibrational source in actual conditions are explained.
