Manifesto imagético para futuros possíveis - Um estudo etnográfico do concurso #THEWORLDWEWANT

Under the auspices of join the world's biggest conversation, the #UN75 campaign presented contemporary global challenges in the form of photographic images. Celebrating the 75 years of existence/performance of the United Nations, Agora launched the #TheWorldWeWant award, which motivated users of the network to post photographs that represent aspirations for future generations. The ongoing research is interested in adopting a visual/digital ethnography that addresses the aspects of representativeness in the systematized operations of the look, which passes through the filter of culture. Methodologically, we will work on the analysis of the finalist photographs of the contest (75 images). Through visual interpretation we will categorize the images into thematic groups. The hypothesis is that the contest is a symptom of the representation of global needs, expressed through the instruments of visual culture
