This aims to undergo preliminary study in language acquisition in non-western epistemology. The object of the study is Al-Attas’ epistemology which is confined to the rasm (description) of ‘ilm, the sources of ‘ilm, and the process of the arrival. This research is library research using a systematic literature review. Language Acquisition in Al-Attas’ Epistemological Viewpoints
