The principles that the selection on Water Supply Pipes (WSP) should follow were pointed out. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) using nine scaling was applied to optimize WSPs quantitatively. The optimal WSPs were determined according to the sorting result of comprehensive evaluation index.
