After laser treatment, AFM measurements register additional small spherical islands on the surface. Analysis performed on irradiated and unirradiated samples showed significant changes in transmission spectra, X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, Verdet constant, magneto-optical property, and absorption coefficient.
