Primary Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma of the Fallopian Tube
is a rare malignant disease of the female genital tract. Carcinomas other than adenocarcinomas are extremely rare in the fallopian tube. We report a case of a malignant neoplasm of the fallopian tube with histological features of endometrioid adenocarcinoma that arose from the tubal epithelium. A 60-year-old woman with watery, intermittent vaginal discharge was found to have a right adnexal tumor. This case was diagnosed as primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube, FIGO Stage IIa. She underwent a total abdominal hysterectomy, a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, a pelvic and periaortic lymph nodes exploration, and an omentectomy, followed by radiotherapy. Histologically, the tumor presented as a primary endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the right fallopian tube
