Dipesh Chakrabarty, cambiamento climatico e tempo dell’antropocene: provincializzare il globale?

The article discusses two recent works published by Dipesh Chakrabarty – “The Climate of History in a Planetary Age” and the Italian “La sfida del cambiamento climatico. Globalizzazione e Antropocene”, both collecting a large part of the research he developed over the last decade – and focuses on his understanding of the way the current ecological crisis impacts on the discourses of critical humanities, postcolonial theories and their interpretation of historical temporality, of the global modernity and the current human condition.
