The inhibitors and activators changed the activity of these diaphorases in a different way, revealing a similarity between mammalian DT-diaphorase and <em>D. virilis</em> DIA-1 on the one hand and on the other between the <em>D. virilis</em> DIA-1 and the diaphorase purified from <em>Bombyx mori</em> eggs.
