In view of the existing problems in the safety management of university laboratories and the use of open sharing, this paper puts forward the use of various technologies based on the Internet of Things to create a smart IoT laboratory system. The hardware and software of the system are designed. The hardware consists of three sections: data acquisition, data processing and data output. The construction mode of each section is systematically studied. The collected information is transmitted to the management host, thus realizing the integrated management and control of the laboratory monitoring system, access control system, alarm system, temperature and humidity, and carrying out unified safety planning and design for the laboratory, making the laboratory management safer, more convenient and more scientific.
