Ductile iron applications are used in various sectors of modern mechanical industries. Ductile iron has wide uses in the field of car industry, military industries, agricultural equipment, construction and mines. The production of ductile iron faces many technical difficulties in our local factories due to the difficulty in providing equipment and technologies for its production by common methods. In this study, we resorted to applying one of the modern methods in the production of ductile iron, which is the treatment process for the molten iron in the sand mold. Magnesium alloys were added inside the sand mold within the casting stream and in the casting cavity for casting production. Specific weights were added and experiments were performed to determine the fusible chemical composition appropriate for preparing ductile cast iron. The study proved that adding magnesium alloys inside the sand mold, whether inside the mold cavity or in the casting channel, is both a successful method for producing ductile iron alloys. 摘要

球墨铸铁是一种应用广泛的铸铁。球墨铸铁应用于现代机械工业的各个部门。球墨铸铁在汽车工业、军事工业、农业装备、建筑和矿山等领域有着广泛的用途。我国地方工厂球墨铸铁的生产面临着许多技术难题,因为一般的生产方法难以提供球墨铸铁的设备和技术。在本研究中,我们采用了一种现代球墨铸铁生产方法,即砂型铁液的处理工艺。在铸流内的砂型内和铸腔内添加镁合金进行铸造生产。为确定适合球墨铸铁制备的易熔化学成分,对其进行了配比试验。研究证明,在砂型内添加镁合金,无论是在型腔内还是在铸道内,都是生产球墨铸铁的一种成功方法。在铸造过程中,通过控制合金添加量与熔融金属含量的比例,可以生产出不同类型的球墨铸铁。
