These processes are often complex and make fiber fragile. In this paper, we fabricate a simple structure formed by multimode fiber and no-core fiber to stimulate surface plasmon wave. According to our research, the sensitivity of the sensor can reach −48.6 dB/RIU, and the resolution is 2.06 × 10−4 RIU.
