This paper analyses the different digital modulation techniques employed during transmission of signal via Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. Comparative analysis is carried out in case of M-ary Phase Shift Modulation (MPSK) techniques viz. BPSK, QPSK, 8-PSK and 16-PSK and consequently their Bit Error Rates (BER) are analyzed. Furthermore, a standard audio signal is passed through AWGN channel while employing these M-ary Phase Shift Modulation (MPSK) techniques and result is analyzed.
